Why BizTech is the biz place to be.
On Wednesday, April 28th, 2010, we will be broadcasting live from the BizTimes Media BizTech Conference and Expo at Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park. BizTimes Publisher Dan Meyer and reporter Alysha Schertz will spend some time with us to talk about how social media and marketing came together to promote this year’s event and make it possibly the largest BizTech event to date. PLEASE LISTEN IN
Last year, Comet had the distinct pleasure of co-hosting the BizTech Twitter Lounge within the BizTimes Milwaukee booth and met many business people who were interested in venturing into the social media landscape for the benefit of their businesses. We helped people set up a Twitter account, send out their first tweet and navigate the somewhat unfamiliar territory of the growing social networking platform. It was also a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and make great business connections after our presentation on the use of social media for business. Things have changed quite a bit since then, and social media has continued to be a topic of much business discussion.
This year, BizTimes, along with several strategic partners are taking social media to a whole new level. Boothtag, Foursquare, Twitter and Facebook promotions and an entire list of speakers focused on social media are all part of the planned activities for 2010′s event.
I’m thrilled to be presenting again this year, along with Kelly Twigger of ESI Attorneys on The Legal Implications of Social Media for Business. If you’re around, check us out at 3:45 p.m. in Seminar Room C – in the middle of the expo floor.
It should be a great year for learning and sharing insights learned over the past year.
We hope you’ll listen in. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN
