SohoBizTube.com Presents: Comet Branding Radio
Topic: How will Public Relations Evolve in 2009 and how will Social Media continue to impact It?
Our guest for Wednesday’s show is the one, the only, Brian Solis. He has been on the show in the past and participated in a great discussion on the “The Changing Role of PR as Media Evolves.” That show also included Nicole Jordan and Jennifer Leggio (check out that new tattoo), two of my favorite ladies in PR.
I worry that In the past, I may have not done a great job introducing my guests on Comet Branding Radio. I may have made the mistake thinking more people have heard of the guests. I spend a lot of time poking around in social media so I have read a lot about Solis and others. I apologize if I’ve let you down.
The purpose of the show is to bring some great national and international guests to the Milwaukee and Wisconsin market. So, I promise to do a better job, because I want you to listen in and hear what these great speakers have to say. I learn something every week and I think you will too. In this case, I’ll let Brian’s bio do the talking:
Brian Solis is Principal of FutureWorks, an award-winning PR and New Media agency in Silicon Valley. Solis blogs at PR2.0, bub.blicio.us, and regularly contributes marketing & tech insight to industry publications. He’s a published author and an avid speaker on the topic of new marketing and engagement. Solis is among the original thought leaders who paved the way for Social Media. He’s a co-founder of the Social Media Club and a founding member of the Media 2.0 Workgroup.
On this show we are going to talk about what Brian sees ahead of us in 2009 for PR and talk about the role social media is going to play in our industry’s evolution.
So, listen and learn something with me.
